King is the perfect description for this wild caught salmon. King salmon is the largest salmon species with fish reaching a weight of over 100 pounds. It’s not just size that counts, since king salmon contains the highest levels of fat for a moist, buttery texture and deep, rich flavor. King salmon also contains healthy Omega-3 fatty acids. All our salmon is caught and processed in the US ranging from the icy waters of Alaska to the abundant coast of Santa Barbara, using sustainable hook and line fishing methods. Our fish is caught fresh and flash frozen to preserve its natural goodness. The location where the salmon was obtained is printed on each package for traceability. This prized fish is best served medium rare to medium and is also ideal for use in raw preparations. Average weight: 10 oz. Each package contains (2) 5 oz. filets.
