Our review
Description The ever-popular Thinkbaby Bento Box is one of the most sought-after items in our feeding set. The Bento features easy-to-clasp sides which form an air-tight seal. It's perfect for any type of food or liquid. We have heard from many pre-schools and Montessori that the Bento is great because it's easy for little kids to open and close. Originally, the product had our Thinkbaby name on it, but we learned that when children turned 5 years old, they didn't want to use a product that said "baby". So, we put "Think", which we also hope is a subtle reminder to all that use the product. The product is made free of bisphenol-A (BPA), phthalates, melamine, PET, PS, copolyester, and biologically harmful chemicals. The Bento Box has a wide list of uses whether it's for kids, parents or folks on the go. Ingredients The exterior of the product is made from polypropylene (PP). The interior is made from 304 stainless steel (18/8). The exterior and interior separate for ease of cleaning. The interior of the lid also has a silicone band which helps prevent leakages. Due to the construction, the product is highly sustainable. Length: 14 cmHeight: 3.5 cmWidth: 10 cm Holds: 250ml / 9oz Use Care Dishwasher Safe - top rack recommended. The Why Thinkbaby's Bento Box furthers our mission by providing safe, sustainable, functional and elegant products for little ones. In the development of our BPA Free Bento Box, Thinkbaby continues the mission by providing a feeding set free of BPA, phthalates, nitrosamines, lead, and PVC. Our Bento Box is also free of Melamine. Early laboratory research has shown melamine based tableware to leach melamine at various temperatures and when combined with other chemicals (such as formaldehyde and cyanuric) have the potential to pose a risk. As we expect the debate to begin on the safety of this chemical, the research we reviewed caused us to ask a simple question. Does the product have to have melamine? Nope. So we built our set to be completely free of it. The Bento Box was designed for a wide range of feeding ages. The set becomes useful from the moment that your doctor green lights solid food feeding to school days and beyond. Parents find the set is perfect for food storage and is the ideal, no leak solution. And there is no reason for the set to be only useful for your toddlers. We receive emails and calls from parents all the time that are using the set for food storage and transport.
