Installation Step 1: Preparation Ensure the engine is completely cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminals for safety. Locate the factory CCV box on the driver-side valve cover. Step 2: Remove Factory CCV Components Disconnect the factory plastic vent lines from the CCV box. Unbolt the factory CCV box from the valve cover (keep the mounting area clean). Remove the factory intake resonance box or CCV cap if applicable to your model year. Step 3: Install the CNC Integrated Filter Ensure the Viton O-ring is properly seated in the groove of the new CNC Integrated CCV Filter. Place the filter onto the valve cover. Secure it using the provided stainless steel bolts. Note: Use the optimized shorter bolt for the single-bolt engine cap piece as provided in the kit. Torque to factory specifications. Step 4: Route the Hose Attach one end of the Reinforced Silicone Hose to the CCV filter using the provided AN-style fitting and clamp. Route the hose along the frame rail toward the rear of the truck. Pro Tip: Ensure the hose is secured away from moving parts (driveshaft) and extreme heat sources (DPF/Exhaust manifolds) using heavy-duty zip ties. Step 5: Exhaust Integration (Optional but Recommended) Locate a suitable section on the rear exhaust tailpipe. Install the Rear Exhaust Integration Port. (If your exhaust is already prepped, simply thread the adapter in). Connect the end of the silicone hose to the port and secure it with a stainless steel clamp. If not integrating into the exhaust: Route the hose to a safe exit point at the rear and secure it. Note: Ensure the short side of the fitting’s cut face is oriented toward the exhaust pipe outlet . Step 6: Final Inspection Double-check all clamps and bolts for tightness. Ensure there are no sharp kinks or pinches in the silicone hose. Reconnect the batteries and start the engine.
