What We Think

S'well's Therma-S'well Technology promises 36 hours cold and 18 hours hot. In our experience with the Original line, the cold claim holds up remarkably well — ice water stays ice-cold well past the 24-hour mark in normal room conditions, which is the real-world test most people actually run. Hot beverages at 18 hours will be warm rather than hot, but that's honest from any vacuum-insulated bottle; the performance is genuine.

The narrow-mouth opening is a trade-off worth naming: it makes sipping clean and spill-resistant, and it's why the exterior stays condensation-free (good seal). But if you're someone who drops ice cubes in or runs a wide bottle brush, you'll fight with it. That's a design choice, not a defect.
