The Lunch Break Bundle is S'well's answer to the desk-lunch problem: one coordinated kit in Onyx that covers the container, the water bottle, the transport, and the utensils. It's four things that almost nobody buys together at once, which is both its main appeal and its main risk. If you already own a S'well bottle or a lunch tote you love, the bundle math gets harder to justify fast.

The centerpiece is the Salad Bowl Kit — S'well's stainless steel bowl with a lid designed for building a proper salad rather than just shoving leftovers into a jar. The 17oz bottle is their classic insulated design, which has a well-earned reputation for keeping cold drinks cold through a full workday. The Cutlery Set rounds it out, so you're not rummaging through the office kitchen drawer for a fork that's been there since 2019.

The case for spending $105

S'well's build quality is consistent — the stainless steel is solid, the finishes hold up to daily bag-tossing, and the Onyx colorway is genuinely handsome in a way that 'matching set from a big-box store' almost never is. If aesthetics matter to you at your desk (and for a lot of people, they do), this earns its keep. There's also a real convenience argument: buying everything separately from different brands means nothing quite coordinates, the tote may not fit the bowl, the cutlery rattles loose.

What gives us pause

Four pounds is a real number to carry. That's the full kit weight, and before you've added any actual food or water. If you commute on foot or by transit with a separate laptop bag, this is the kind of thing that quietly wears you down by Thursday.

The 17oz bottle is on the smaller side for people who drink a lot of water — it's a solid desk-to-gym bottle but not a replace-your-hydration-tracking-habit bottle. And the Salad Bowl Kit, however well-designed, is still a salad bowl kit: it works for salads and grain bowls and cold leftovers, but it won't keep anything hot, and it's not a bento situation with compartments.
