The SL version of 30|XC features carbon spokes and 30g of weight savings per rim. This is the race setup ridden by Cannondale Factory Racing. SL Rims: A special carbon layup and greater use of high modulus fiber make our SL rims lighter and with identical strength characteristics and ride quality compared to 28|XC. Carbon Spokes: Vonoa carbon spokes are 30% lighter than traditional steel spokes and deliver a stiff, responsive ride. Team riders say the carbon spokes feel very planted, and the stiffer spokes reduce spoke wind up, which makes it feel like they can accelerate faster. 30mm Internal Rim Width: Modern XC race bikes have wider tires, more travel and geometry that allows riders to push harder than ever before.
