Fit and construction
The tailored cut is the other reason we'd reach for these over a cheaper nylon sack. They're shaped for someone who is actually on a bike — enough room through the hip and seat, a cleaner line through the leg so they don't billow into the drivetrain, and an elasticated waistband that lets you pull them on over cycling tights in under ten seconds. At 300g they weigh roughly the same as a light fleece, so stuffing them into a jersey pocket or day bag isn't a negotiation.
