The Fabric

It's 125gsm interlock polyester — a tighter knit than jersey, which means it holds its shape through repeated washes and moves with you without the clingy, translucent quality cheaper training tops develop after six months. Moisture wicking is real; the fabric pulls sweat away quickly enough that you don't end up with a soaked front panel on longer efforts. The trade-off, as with most 100% polyester tops, is that it runs synthetic against the skin — if you're sensitive to that, you'll know within the first mile.

The chafe-free construction matters most if you're layering, which Proviz specifically recommends: wear this under a gilet or vest so the arms stay exposed and do the reflective work. That's a smart use case we haven't seen many brands explicitly design around.

This is what makes the top worth considering over a generic long sleeve with a dye job. The REFLECT360 patterning runs across the body in multiple directions, so it catches light from the side, front, and rear — not just head-on. For cyclists or runners sharing road space with cars coming from intersections, that multi-directional coverage is meaningfully different from a standard reflective strip. It works without adding bulk or altering the silhouette in daylight.

One Honest Caveat

The Ocean Teal colorway is the one available here, and while it's a nice color, reflective tops look different in daylight than you'd expect — the REFLECT360 finish gives the fabric a slightly silvery cast in certain light. That's not a flaw, but it's worth knowing before you're surprised when it arrives.
