The elasticated armband adjusts via hook-and-loop closure (read: velcro), which makes on-the-fly sizing easy but is also the component most likely to wear out over time with repeated washing and sweat exposure. We'd suggest unstrapping it before you toss your kit in the laundry rather than leaving the velcro to fray against other fabrics.

The dual zip closure is the detail that earns our confidence. A single-zip phone pocket is one snag away from a shattered screen; two zips means one is a backup, and the system stays shut even when the band shifts during intervals or a harder effort.
