Proviz built their name on high-visibility running and cycling gear, and these gloves carry that philosophy at its most affordable. They are unambiguously shoulder-season gloves — think 40–55°F mornings where your hands go numb in the first mile but you'd be sweating through anything heavier by mile three. If you're shopping for January blizzard protection, keep moving.

The stretch and fit

The 4-way stretch polyester construction is where these quietly earn their keep. Running gloves that don't stretch all four directions tend to bunch at the knuckles or restrict your grip around a water bottle — both small miseries that add up over a long run. The poly-mix fabric here moves with your hand rather than fighting it, and the lightweight construction means you actually feel your fingers, which matters for unlocking your phone or adjusting earbuds mid-stride.

Touchscreen compatibility

It works. That's the honest answer, and it's more than we can say for plenty of gloves that make the same claim. The fingertips register reliably on a phone screen — not as crisply as bare skin, but enough to skip a track or tap a navigation prompt without stopping. For GPS watch faces with larger touch targets, it's even more dependable.

Reflectivity

The reflective logos are a legitimately useful feature at this price point. Most sub-$15 running gloves skip reflective detailing entirely, treating it as a premium add-on. Proviz embeds it because visibility is their core brand identity, and it shows: the logos catch headlights clearly in low-light conditions, which matters on early-morning or post-sunset runs where your silhouette is harder to read from a distance.

The clip-together storage detail

Small thing, but worth noting: the gloves clip together so you don't spend 10 minutes hunting for the mate at the bottom of your gear bag. It's the kind of practical, unsexy feature that running gear often skips in favor of things that look good on a product photo. We appreciate it.

Where they fall short

Polyester breathes but doesn't block wind, and it offers no meaningful water resistance. If your run hits rain or a sustained headwind below 35°F, these will feel inadequate fast. The construction is also clearly suited for lighter use — if you run daily and put your gloves through serious mileage year after year, something more durable will likely serve you better long-term. And at size S only in this blue colorway, fit options are limited depending on what's currently in stock.
