What it is

Proviz makes gear for people who move through traffic in low light — cyclists, runners, commuters who choose the early train. The Fully Reflective Backpack Cover is a simple idea executed well: a dual-layer waterproof shell that slips over your existing bag and, crucially, bounces headlights back at drivers from every angle. It's not trying to replace your bag. It's trying to make sure cars see it.

The reflectivity is the whole point

Most rain covers are dull nylon in a forgettable color. This one is fully reflective — meaning a car's headlights don't just illuminate it, they get thrown back hard. The light loop

There's a small loop built in to attach an LED rear light. It won't work with every light form factor, but for a standard clip-on commuter light it's a thoughtful detail.

Waterproofing

Proviz describes this as dual-layer 100% waterproofing. We take "100%" with mild skepticism on any product at this price — sustained sideways rain in a strong wind will always find edges — but for the realistic use case (caught in a shower on your commute, cycling through drizzle for 45 minutes), it holds. The construction is meaningfully different from single-layer covers that feel plasticky and breathe poorly.

The honest part

This cover does one thing: it protects your bag from rain and makes you visible. It doesn't have a built-in light, it doesn't have pockets, it doesn't make your bag look better. If your bag already has solid waterproofing and you never travel after dark, it adds nothing. And if you're carrying a 50L expedition pack, you'll need to look at the larger size options — this tops out at 35L.
