Our review
Indigo shibori throws are perfect for the beach, a picnic, or for a cozy night on the couch. This Japanese technique dates back to the 8th century. Traditionally, a white cloth was folded, bunched, or twisted, then tied, and finally dipped into an indigo dye to create a one of a kind organic pattern. Small irregularities or variations in the color should not be considered a defect, this is specific and part of the charm of an entirely handmade product. Each throw is similar in pattern but truly one of a kind. Details 48"x 67" 100% cotton hand dyed made in India Wash Care Wash separately for the first few washes. Machine or hand wash in cold water with gentle soap. Rinse under running water until any color bleeding stops. Hang in indirect sunlight. Iron on cotton setting. Note: Indigo dyes may crock or rub off on furnishings. Keep with like colors until no color is released during washing.
