Our review
This colorful wrapping paper was inspired by the original designs of Lou Silverstein, the previous art director for The Times, who developed patterned newspaper pages that were mailed to potential advertisers. The pages were accompanied by origami instructions on how to fold them into your own pressman’s hat. Our eco-friendly wrapping paper is printed on recycled newsprint with soy-based ink by local newspaper presses, utilizing less resources and energy while supporting local businesses. Each package includes four sheets of gift wrapping paper. Paper arrives flat and folded in a plastic-free PLA bag made of plant starch. The full sheet size is 21.5" x 34." It is made by Wrappily, a women-owned business based in Hawaii that was founded in 2013 to answer a global need for a smarter, more sustainable gift wrap.
