Our review

The Times slogan “All the News That’s Fit to Print,” perhaps the most famous phrase in American journalism, is a permanent fixture on the front page. It now appears emblazoned on the front of this 100% cotton fleece crewneck sweatshirt from Knickerbocker, a New York-based fashion brand. This gray sweatshirt with black embroidery sports contrasting hem, cuffs and neckline. It’s pre-shrunk, so order accordingly. This cozy sweatshirt is part of the New York Times Early Edition collection inspired by information, artifacts or photos from The Times’s archives. The motto “All the News That’s Fit to Print” first appeared on The Times editorial page October 25, 1896, shortly after Adolph S. Ochs bought the newspaper. The words moved to the front page without notice, commentary or fanfare February 10, 1897. Knickerbocker, a New York-based clothing and fashion brand, is known for hand-crafted, quality design. Founded in 2013 with a factory in New York, the brand seeks to create items that have a story to tell and respect tradition.
