Our review
Grown in the cool, mist-covered hills of Cobán, this meticulously crafted coffee from Luis “Wicho” Valdés III delivers crisp, bright fruit balanced by a sweet praline finish. The Valdés family began planting coffee here in the 1960s, and Wicho has spent more than 20 years refining cultivation, harvest, and processing after earning a degree in agricultural engineering. Together, the farms employ roughly 600 people during peak season and grow varietals including Caturra, Catuaí, Bourbon, and select experimental plantings.
