Our review
Belgian Linen Cotton, Built for the Bath The Calistoga Bath Rug is woven by Libeco in Belgium from a 50/50 blend of linen and cotton—two fibers that do different things. Linen brings tensile strength with a light texture, providing a comfortable grip underfoot. Cotton gives softness and draws moisture away from the surface. The result is balanced by design to be tactile, comfortable, and breathable. Better With Every Wash Most bath rugs degrade over time. The pile thins, the color fades, or the edges curl. Linen-cotton moves the other way: the fibers relax and soften without losing structure. Woven at Libeco's mill in Meulebeke and finished to hold its shape wash after wash, this rug is made for the bathroom, where good linen proves itself best. At home alongside the Calistoga: a linen hand towel or a terra cotta bud vase for the counter. Please note: This rug has a 2-3 week lead time.
