Owned and operated by the Perez family, Finca La Hermosa is an award-winning farm nestled on the slopes of the Acatenango volcano in southern Guatemala. Having been selected numerous times to the Cup of Excellence competition, the farm is renowned for producing exceptional coffees. Born and raised amidst a coffee farm and a parchment warehouse at home, Max Perez always had the idea of starting a coffee business himself. Max is the fourth generation of coffee producers in the Huehuetenango region. At 25 years old, he graduated as a lawyer and married Claudia, his college classmate.
