Our review

By listening to our Customers' feedback, we’ve crafted a product that fulfills a gap in our menu of fresh roasted specialty coffees - the Bali Karana Kintamani. It is our first ever coffee developed as an espresso roast (it is equally great if prepared with any other brewing method), which gives it a stronger body and a bolder flavor. The Karana community represents a collective effort by 377 smallholder farmers in the Kintamani region of Bali, Indonesia. Kintamani is situated between the Batukaru and Agung volcanoes, 8 degrees south of the equator. The farmers in the area employ a variety of coffee processing methods, showcasing their dedication to innovation and quality. The region’s producers are an organized group called the Subak Abian, guided by the Hindu philosophy of Tri Hita Karana. They believe happiness is found when an individual seeks good relationships with God, others, and nature. Product Details 100% Bali Karana Kintamani speciality coffee (espresso roast). Origin / Species / Varietal: Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia / Arabica coffee / S795, Kartika. Growing altitude: 1200 meters. Harvest period: May-October. Processing method: Washed. Cupping notes: Toffee with dried apricot, dried plum, and dark chocolate flavors. Mellow, sugary sweetness.
