Our review
Larger flowers and extended bloom time with pollinator appeal Glamour Time™ Dianthus is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to brighten their garden with bold, hot pink blooms. These vibrant flowers aren't just eye-catching; they’re also larger than typical dianthus blooms, providing an impressive display throughout the growing season. With their extended flower power, you can enjoy weeks of color, making them a perfect addition to borders, containers, or as a focal point in any landscape. Beyond their beauty, Glamour Time™ Dianthus has practical benefits too. These charming flowers are known to attract pollinators, enhancing the biodiversity in your yard. Plus, their natural deer resistance means you can enjoy their splendor without the worry of them becoming a meal for local wildlife. This unique combination of aesthetics and functionality makes Glamour Time™ a garden staple that's not only gorgeous but beneficial for the environment as well. Planting Care 1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a well-drained location that receives full sun to part shade. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and backfill with a mix of compost and soil. Space plants about 12 to 18 inches apart to allow for airflow and growth. 2. Watering: Water deeply after planting, ensuring the soil is moist but not soggy. Once established, water when the top 1-2" dries out. 3. Pruning: In early spring, remove any overwintered foliage to encourage fresh growth. Plants can be individually deadheaded to prolong blooming, or sheared back by about one-third after flowering, leaving the foliage intact for the remainder of the season. When planted in masses, foliage will spread to form an attractive groundcover. 4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring or work fresh compost into the planting bed. Avoid over-fertilizing, as excess nutrients can cause leggy growth and reduce flowering.
