Our review
Spring flowering ground cover for borders and rock beds With radiant clusters of crisp white flowers set against dainty green foliage, Snowsation™ Candytuft is a standout upgrade in the Iberis world. It boasts the largest flowers of any compact Iberis, creating bold, eye-catching impact while maintaining a neat, mounding habit. Selected for its mid-season flowering and excellent branching, plants bloom uniformly and branch freely, delivering a full, balanced look in both containers and garden beds. Well recognized by gardeners, this variety naturally draws attention in the garden center and translates that same wow factor into the landscape. Blooming from mid to late spring into early summer, this easy-care perennial provides dependable seasonal color with minimal maintenance. In warmer climates, its tidy foliage may remain evergreen, adding year-round texture and structure. Ideal for edging pathways, brightening borders, spilling over retaining walls, or enhancing rock gardens and slopes, Snowsation™ offers improved flower size, stronger branching, and reliable performance season after season. Planting Care 1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location with well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and place the plant in the center, covering the roots with soil. Water thoroughly after planting. 2. Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a strong root system. Once established, reduce watering, allowing the soil to dry between watering sessions. This plant is drought-tolerant once mature. 3. Pruning: To maintain shape and encourage bushy growth, trim back spent blossoms and any dead stems after the flowering period. A light trim in late winter will also help stimulate new growth for the upcoming season. 4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new growth begins to emerge. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can lead to excessive foliage at the expense of blooms.
