The book contains games New York 1927, Kecskemet 1927, World Championship Match 1927 with Capablanca, Bradley Beach 1929 and World Championship Match with Bogolyubov 1929 + 27 games from various chess tournaments, matches and simultaneous exhibitions. The appendix contains 23 additional games from 1907-1926 that were not included in the previous three volumes of the Chess Duels. All 163 games were analysed by A. Alekhine in tournament books, selections of his games, chess magazines and chess columns (e.g. La Nacion, Basel Nachrichten, etc.).
