Our review
A fork made in collaboration by Wildfish Cannery and Tlingit and Athabascan designer and artist Rico "Rico Lanáat’ Worl. This fork isn’t just a tool—it’s a love letter to the tides and traditions of our home on the Alaska coast. Perfectly sized for digging into your favorite tin of smoked fish or kelp pickles, and beautifully crafted in stainless steel in the shape and lines of a formline, traditional Tlingit art form. Whether you're hosting a dockside snack or elevating your lunch break, this fork is here to remind you that small bites can carry big stories. About Rico: His work started in developing the arts department at Sealaska Heritage Institute, implementing programs to empower the Indigenous artists of Southeast Alaska. The programs focused on developing fundamental skills and access to resources. Through his ongoing project, Trickster Company, He carries forward the goals of empowering Indigenous artists, celebrating Indigenous resilience, promoting cross cultural connection. Currently Rico is working towards developing his skills in digital 3d sculpture and exploring themes of Indigenous futurism.
