Our review
In the early morning hours of February 27, 1776, Loyalist troops, hoping to meet a larger British Expeditionary Force, were fired upon and dramatically routed by Patriot militiamen. Over the next couple days, over 800 fleeing Loyalists were captured. The Battle of Moores Creek Bridge was a huge morale boost for the Continental Army and the catalyst for the Halifax Resolves—a precursor to the Declaration of Independence. This collectible pin, commemorating the battle, features the snake and tree emblems of the Bladen and Brunswick County Patriot militias that participated in the battle. With a white background and an elegant gold border, this collector's item will grab attention from across the room no matter where you wear it. Product Details 1 1/8'' x 5/8''
